The VEDS Movement mission is to save lives and improve the quality of life of individuals with Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (VEDS). By pursuing the most innovative research, educating the medical community, general public and affected individuals, and providing support to patients, families, and caregivers, we can charge forward and improve the outcomes for those living with VEDS.

The Mission of Adventures in love 4 Andie is to raise awareness for vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (VEDS). They also raise funds to support patient care, patient outreach, and research to find better treatments for VEDS. They do this in honor of Andie Mae G. Carpenter. Andie passed away at age 20 from complications of VEDS. Better education and care could have saved her life. Their mission is to help other VEDS families have more time with their loved ones like they would have loved to have.

In 2003, John Ritter — beloved actor, husband, father, and friend — was taken suddenly due to an acute thoracic aortic dissection which was tragically misdiagnosed. Weeks after his death, his wife and fellow actor Amy Yasbeck founded The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health with a focused and urgent purpose to prevent unnecessary suffering because of the unknown. Every day, they work to raise awareness for thoracic aortic disease through genetic research, widespread education, and radical advocacy.
